Who We Are

DeFi All Odds fast-tracks talent to blockchain career opportunities through a career assessment, e-learning, career map, and a Portfolio of Projects provided by hiring managers. We help students and professionals upskill and develop a portfolio desirable to hiring managers through project-based qualifications. All services requires individuals to sign up, opt-in, subscribe or purchase, and deletion of an individual account can happen at any time. All users can register by creating an account with an email address and name. Once registered, individuals start the career assessment, which is based on hobbies and interests, and then complete a post-assessment survey about their professional experience and social media handle. Next, users are brought to a talent dashboard where their top blockchain job titles are displayed, and the individual can "like" them. E-learning and projects are provided to prove they are qualified for the role. Once a user completes a project, they are prompted to opt in to becoming visible to hiring managers. By opting in, users are agreeing to share their full profiles with hiring managers for employment opportunities. If the user selects yes, once three projects are completed, they gain VIP Status and are recommended to hiring managers. If a user selects "no," then their information is not visible to hiring managers. DeFi All Odds is not a job board. Hiring managers can review the projects of users who have opted in and contact them about career opportunities. Individuals can opt out of being visible by specific companies. DeFi All Odds is a Crypto Tutors INC product and is GDPR compliant. Crypto Tutors is a for-profit company and was first funded by the National Science Foundation's SBIR, the most competitive federal grant program to invent new technology. Crypto Tutors was founded in 2020.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all individuals who interact with the DeFi All Odds platform. We organize our data practices by user type so you can find exactly what applies to you.

Personal Data We Collect

We collect only what we need to deliver the platform's core functions. Here's what we collect from each user type:

Talent (Job Seekers)

1.1 Account & Identity Information

Your name, email address, phone number, and the credentials used to create and secure your account.

1.2 Education Information

Your university or institution, degree type, field of study, and expected or actual graduation year, used to match you with relevant career paths and employer requirements.

1.3 Professional Background

Current and prior job titles, employer names, current and desired salary ranges, and visa sponsorship requirements. This information is used to power career recommendations and, if you opt in, to help hiring managers assess fit.

1.4 Social & Professional Profiles

LinkedIn profile URL and social media handles you voluntarily connect to your profile. These are optional and used to enrich your visible portfolio.

1.5 Demographic Information

Race, gender, and location information collected voluntarily. This data is used solely for NSF research reporting and to measure platform diversity. It is never shared with hiring managers and is never used in any hiring or matching decision.

1.6 Career Interests & Assessment

Your hobby and interest rankings from the career assessment, preferred job functions, and career preference selections. This data powers the career recommendation engine to surface relevant blockchain roles for you.

1.7 Project Work & Portfolio

Project submissions, links to work samples, written responses, and progress status. Submissions may include video recordings or images in which you appear. This content is displayed to hiring managers only if you opt in.

1.8 Learning Progress

Course enrollment status, module and lecture progress, quiz results, and certifications earned on the platform.

1.9 Platform Activity

Login history, assessment and onboarding completion, pages visited, referral source, time on site, and interactions with job listings. Used to improve the platform and track your progress.

1.10 Survey & Research Responses

Career confidence ratings, salary expectations, job application intent, Web3 industry interest, and free-text feedback collected via post-assessment surveys. Used for platform improvement and aggregate NSF research reporting. Your identity is kept confidential in any publication.

1.11 Communication History

Metadata about platform emails sent to you (such as delivery status and email type). Email body content is never stored long-term.

1.12 Employer Visibility Preference

Whether you have chosen to make your profile visible to hiring managers. You are asked: "Would you like to be fast-tracked directly to hiring managers looking for Web3 talent?" If you select yes, your profile information will be shared with hiring managers once you reach VIP status. You can change this preference at any time from your account dashboard.

Hiring Managers

• Account information: name, work email, company name, job title
• Subscription and billing information
• Search queries and candidate interaction activity within the platform

Institution Partners

• Organizational contact information and authorized user accounts
• Enrollment lists and cohort data submitted under your data agreement
• Aggregated and individual learner progress reports (as permitted by your agreement)

Visitors

• IP address and approximate location
• Browser type, operating system, device identifiers
• Cookie data (subject to your cookie preferences)

All Users: Automatically Collected Data

We use cookies, web beacons, and analytics tools to automatically collect usage data. This helps us understand how the platform is used and improve our services. You can configure cookie preferences through your browser settings.

• Pages visited, referral source, time on site

Cookies do not generally contain any personal information. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually configure your browser to prevent this. Not taking cookies may make certain features of the DeFi All Odds materials unavailable to you.

Service Providers

We share data with vetted third-party vendors that help us operate our platform — including our cloud infrastructure provider, identity management provider, email delivery provider, and payment processor. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond delivering services to us.

Hiring Managers (Talent Only — Opt-In)

Talent profiles are only made visible to hiring managers when you explicitly opt in. See Talent Sharing & Opt-In below.

Institution Partners

If you enrolled via an institution partner, that institution may access your progress and outcome data in accordance with the data agreement between DeFi All Odds and your institution.

Advertising & Analytics Partners

With your consent (via cookie acceptance), we may share usage data with advertising networks and analytics providers. See Advertising & Remarketing below.

Legal Obligations

We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or government authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of DeFi All Odds, its users, or the public.

Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to this Privacy Policy.

With Your Consent

We may share your information with additional third parties when you explicitly direct us to do so.

Talent Sharing & Opt-In

Your career profile — including your skills, projects, certifications, and career history — is private by default. Hiring managers cannot see your profile unless you actively enable employer visibility in your account settings.

When you opt in, hiring managers with active subscriptions may view the profile information you've chosen to make visible. You can revoke employer visibility at any time from your account dashboard, and your profile will no longer appear in new hiring manager searches.

DeFi All Odds does not share your contact information (email, phone) with hiring managers unless you initiate direct contact or expressly authorize it.

AI & Recommendation Engine

We may use AI and machine learning models to provide personalized career recommendations. Where AI processes your personal data, we do so based on your consent or our legitimate interests in delivering a useful career development experience.

AI-powered features on our platform include:

• Career path recommendations based on your skills, interests, and activity
• AI chat assistance for career coaching and platform navigation
• Talent matching signals used to surface relevant opportunities to Hiring Managers (only for opted-in Talent)

AI-generated recommendations are advisory only. You are never automatically placed or connected with an employer without your active involvement.

Advertising & Remarketing

With your consent (by accepting targeting cookies), we may use remarketing services including Google AdWords and Facebook Ads to show relevant advertisements to people who have visited our platform.

Google AdWords

Google AdWords uses cookies to help identify that you've visited our site and to show you relevant ads across the Google ad network. Google's collection and use of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

To opt out of Google interest-based advertising, visit https://adssettings.google.com.

Interest-Based Advertising

You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating networks at networkadvertising.org or aboutads.info.

Do Not Track

Educational Institution Partners & FERPA

Where the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) applies to data shared by Institution Partners, it is processed in compliance with the statute. For details, see our Security & Data Addendum.

Institutional data agreements govern the specific terms under which partner institutions may access learner data. DeFi All Odds acts as a data processor on behalf of the institution for FERPA-covered data.

Data Security

We maintain reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect your data. For detailed security controls and certifications, see our Security & Data Addendum.

No student data is stored on developer machines, local databases, or unmanaged storage in the production environment. All data resides in a secure cloud.

While we take data security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to responding promptly to any incidents that may affect your data.

Audit Logging

• Authentication events, data deletions, and administrative actions are logged
• Data Minimization: Only data fields required for platform functionality are collected
• Secret Management: Cloud Key Vault for all production credentials; no plaintext secrets
• Cascade Deletion: FERPA-compliant cross-service data purge on student request

7.2 Breach Notification

In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting student records, DeFi All Odds, Inc. will notify the affected institution within 72 hours of confirmation.

7.3 Regulatory Compliance

Breach notification procedures comply with applicable federal and state requirements, including FERPA breach notification obligations and applicable state data breach notification statutes.

International Transfers

DeFi All Odds processes data primarily within the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Children's Policy

The DeFi All Odds platform is open to users 13 years of age and older. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 must have verifiable parental or legal guardian consent before creating an account. By completing the minor consent acknowledgment during registration, users confirm that their parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service on their behalf.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at info@defiallodds.com and we will promptly delete the account and all associated data.

DeFi All Odds complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via email or in-platform notice.
